Halfway Crooks, the popular craft brewery located on Georgia Avenue in Summerhill, is joining the Oktoberfest celebration in style with a festive outdoor biergarten boasting music, German-style beers and food specials. Every Friday through Sunday until Oct. 3, guests can soak up German culture, feast on a selection of schnitzel, currywurst, wurstplattes, house-made apple cakes and Evergreen Butcher & Baker fresh-baked pretzels and sip on featured beers including All Caps, Festbier, Kelvin and Shell. Halfway Crooks’ Oktoberfest biergarten will be open Fridays 4-10 p.m. (Food served until 9 p.m.); Saturdays 12-10 p.m. (Food served 1-8 p.m.); and Sundays 12-7 p.m. (Food served until 6 p.m.).
