Stieber, the celebrated Atlanta chef who ran his Eat Me Speak Me pop-up for six years, will open Little Bear on Summerhill’s redeveloped Georgia Avenue Wednesday, Feb. 26.
“This has been a dream of mine since I started cooking professionally as a 15 year old and it’s finally coming true,” Stieber wrote. “Thank you to everyone who has believed in this restaurant and [me].”
Little Bear will offer an intimate setting that is appropriate for the ex-Eat Me Speak Me chef, who worked his pop-up out of small spaces. The restaurant spans just 1,300 square feet and has only 30 seats. Reservations for the first week of service are available via email (reservations@littlebearatl.com). Seats at Little Bear’s bar will be open to walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.
